This is the last day! I’m sad!! The last lesson is to never ever, ever, ever, ever, EVER FORGET who you are!! If you don’t know who you are, find yourself. Whatever it takes, find who you are, love who you are, and never forget it! This lesson (and all the lessons I’ve posted) is something I’m still learning every single day. And I’m realizing that we will always be on a path of learning. So, remain teachable, always be a student. Stay humble. Never forget who you are and what you want. Your dreams are worth making reality. The world needs you. Do you hear me? The world needs you! You are alive for such a time as this and the world needs more people who walk in confidence and boldness. People who know who they are so deeply that they cause other people to find themselves, too. 

With all the joy, the hope, and the love I can send your way, I’m honored to those of you who took this challenge. You are all winners in my book. You all were brave and took a chance. I would hope, if anything you take from this challenge, that you love and accept yourself right where you are for WHO you are!

How is tomorrow the last day?!😿🙆🏼I just want it to keep going. 

Today’s lesson is about not taking yourself (or others) too seriously. We are all here, imperfect, doing our best at whatever it is we are doing. We are all at different levels. We all have different giftings. We all have a purpose. We all need one another in some form or fashion. We aren’t made to be the same. We are made to be–who we already are. Work on progressing yourself. Don’t stay stagnant. Growth and change is good. Always reach higher. Be someone who chases after a challenge. Be ambitious. Have goals. But, on that path, give yourself grace, let loose, laugh at yourself when you “just can’t even”, and remember that you are human–not a robot. You’re not supposed to have it all together all the time. Even computers break down. ♡

Day 20: Eagle Pose| Gharudasana

Today’s lesson has no positive fluff to it. But, it’s not negative either. It’s just…real. Today’s lesson is about long, taxing (mentally, physically, emotionally)days. I’m worn out. My mind and my body. Something I’ve learned when I have days-or weeks- like this, is that it is easier to first accept yourself in it. Accept that you’re done. Accept that you have nothing left in your tank. Accept every emotion you’re feeling. Accept that your day was just “what it was”. Sometimes we over analyze our emotions and our situations to the point it creates more stress. Look, if it needs your attention and scrutiny, it will still be there. So for me tonight, I’m struggling even writing this. I’m DONE. I want my wine and my Netflix. 😜But, I could be sitting here analyzing every detail wondering what I could’ve done better. But even if that’s “necessary”, I first have to accept that I am human, nothing and no one is perfect, and that its ok. So rest, relax, disconnect so you can re-connect, and breathe……..👌🏼🙏🏼👌🏼

Day 19 : Pistol Squat

Today’s lesson is about being intentional. In your relationships, in your studies, in your yoga/working out, in your nutrition, in yourself…however, whatever, whenever, just stay intentional. Reach out to that friend even when you think you can’t (or maybe don’t want to). Keep pursuing connection. Always. In your health, be intentional. Don’t get too caught up in thinking that health and fitness is just for the vain. WRONG! We were MADE to eat certain foods and certain foods were MADE for our benefit. Be intentional about staying healthy. Be intentional when it comes to learning and getting things done. Integrity plays a big part in this. Don’t be lazy. Know when to rest and take a break, but it’s humbling to always work hard and be proud of putting your heart, your head, and your hands to something that makes change in this world. Be intentional with yourself. Check in. Go to therapy–it’s healthy. Ask yourself how you’re doing. Work toward a better you. Take time for you. Love you. It’s NOT selfish. You can’t give out love that you don’t even have for yourself. Believe it or not, all these lessons I’ve put down so far in the last 19 days, were lessons I learned through the practice of yoga. This is something that through my journey, I’ve learned. Things that I’m taught every day in my practice. They’ve been brought out of me. It’s amazing! And I’m grateful. ♡

Today’s lesson is about not fearing the unknown. Sure, you might feel afraid of it, who doesn’t? It’s scary. It can be lonely. It’s a risk. It’s vulnerable. It’s unsafe. But in the end it comes down to whether you are going to let it stop you from doing what you love, pursuing your passion, NEVER knowing, regret, even making that tough choice that you know you need to make. Look, you don’t have to have all the answers. You don’t have to know what comes next. You don’t have to be in control of everything. This is where the fear comes in. But guess what? The world has more grace for you in your mistakes and there are more chances than just two. I promise. Take a risk already. Jump off the edge. Cause you may fall. But you may also fly! Life is meant to be embraced and chased after with a tenacity that crushes every barrier and says I’MPossible instead of impossible. 

Nike says it best: JUST DO IT. 

If you’re waiting for a sign. Stop. I’m telling you. If we look inside ourselves for just a minute and ask ourselves what we want, who we want, what we need, what we love, what is right, what is wrong–we know! We really do. Now…GO, LIVE, LOVE, BE HAPPY!
